¶ 1. David Hawkins was convicted in the Circuit Court of Leflore County of sexual battery and four counts of touching a child for lustful purposes. He was sentenced to five terms of imprisonment, totaling twenty-eight years, all to be served consecutively without the benefit of parole in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).
