I. INTRODUCTION

James F. Lewis (“Lewis”) brought this action against Whitman-Hanson Regional School District (“the School District”) alleging he was disparately disciplined and demoted during his employment based upon his age, in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (the “ADEA”), 29 U.S.C.
