¶1 John George Cooper was arrested in Washington State in July 2009 for attempting to obtain pain-killers with a fake prescription. In October 2009, while his case was pending, Cooper jumped bail. According to Cooper, he was summoned to Texas by his father to assist in his grandfather’s funeral.
