This matter is before the Court on Petitioner Albert Woodfox’s (“Woodfox”) petition for habeas relief on the claim that Woodfox’s March 1993 indictment by a West Feliciana Parish grand jury was tainted by grand jury foreperson discrimination. An evidentiary hearing was held on May 29-31, 2012. Both Woodfox and the State have filed post-hearing memoranda.
