This is a pro se civil rights action by a former Georgia prison inmate, Wayne Redding. He seeks damages against former prison officials under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 for, among other things, subjecting him to cruel and unusual punishment in violation of the Eighth Amendment,1 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities *842Act (ADA), 42 U.S.C. § 13121 et seq.
