1 aThe defendant, Leo T. Charles, was charged with aggravated flight from an officer, a violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14:108.1 C (count I), and aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce, a violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14:96 A (count II). After pleading not guilty, the defendant was tried before a jury and found guilty as charged on both counts.
