li>.The State charged the defendant, Gino Remy Crucia, by bill of information with possession of a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance, (heroin), a violation of La.,R.S. 40:966(C)(1). At. arraignment, the defendant pled not guilty, but following trial, a unanimous jury found him guilty as charged.
