Eric Tolonen, now 32, has suffered from cystic acne since entering the Wisconsin prison system at age 20. In this lawsuit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, Tolonen principally claimed that the defendants — two treating doctors and two healthcare administrators — had shown deliberate indifference to his acne by refusing to authorize a consultation with a dermatologist.
