This insurance dispute arose, unfortunately, out of a murder-suicide that took place on September 2, 2015. As the undisputed facts of the case show, on that day, David Rings shot his wife Teresa and then shot himself. Mr, Rings had life insurance through his employer, Abbot Laboratories.
