*314Mohamad Malak appeals following a judgment against him on a credit card account. For the reasons that follow, we reverse.

The record shows that on May 31, 2013, Unifund CCR, LLC, as the assignee of Citibank, NA, filed a suit on a Citibank credit card account alleging that Malak was indebted to Unifund in the sum of $13,242.37 plus interest.
