In this nursing home malpractice case, defendants, Oaks Care Center, LLC and Plantation Management, LLC, appeal a judgment adopting a jury's verdict in favor of a ninety year old patient with dementia who was injured in a fall from a bedside chair where she had been left unattended by the nursing home staff.
