WOOD, Chief Judge.

While lifting a heavy door at his prison job at the Pekin Correctional Institution on March 21, 2008, Craig J. Cesal heard a “snap” in his back and felt pain in his leg and hip. He promptly sought treatment from the prison’s medical staff, but he was dissatisfied with their response.
